By downloading, installing, accessing or using Schulte Table, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should discontinue use of the application.

3. Purpose of the Application

Schulte Table is a brain-training application designed to help users practise focus, concentration, visual attention and processing speed through interactive exercises, including a Schulte grid mode and a Memory Match mode. It also provides a gamification system and global leaderboard for competitive motivation.

4. Sign-In and Account Linking

The app automatically creates an anonymous account via Firebase Authentication when you first open it. No registration, email address or password is required to play. Your game progress is linked to this anonymous session.

You may optionally sign in from the Profile tab with a Google account or an email address and password to sync your progress across devices and recover it after a reinstall. Signing in is never required to use any core feature of the app. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials you use to sign in, and for all activity under your account.

Reinstalling the app without having linked an account creates a new anonymous session; progress linked to the previous anonymous session is not automatically recoverable in that case. You may permanently delete your account and its associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account & Data.

5. Gamification System

Schulte Table includes a gamification system with the following elements:

• XP (Experience Points) — earned by completing games. XP accumulates to raise your level.
• Levels and Rank Titles — increase as you earn XP. Higher levels may unlock additional table styles.
• Play Credits (◆) — a virtual in-app currency earned by completing games and watching optional reward ads, and spent on Memory Match rounds and unlocks. See below.
• Game Score (★) — ladder points earned from completed rounds. They set your rank tier and leaderboard position and are never spent.
• Daily Streak — counts consecutive days you have played. Missing a day resets the streak.

Gamification features are provided for entertainment purposes and are subject to change or removal without notice.

6. Play Credits and Virtual Currency

Play credits and game score are virtual items with no monetary value. They cannot be purchased, transferred, exchanged for real money or redeemed outside the app.

We reserve the right to modify, reset or remove credits, game score or any gamification element at any time, including retuning the cost and reward of any game mode to keep the game balanced. We are not liable for any perceived loss of virtual items due to app updates, account resets or changes to app features.

7. Reward Ads

The app offers optional reward ads powered by Google AdMob. Watching a reward ad grants a specified number of play credits. A daily limit applies to how many reward ads can be watched.

Reward ads are optional and are never required to use core app features. By choosing to watch a reward ad, you agree to Google AdMob's terms of service.

8. Leaderboard and Fair Play

Schulte Table includes a global leaderboard based on game score. Your display name, avatar and score are visible to all other app users when you appear on it.

Display names are auto-generated by default. If you customize your display name, you agree not to use names that are offensive, misleading, or that impersonate another person. We reserve the right to remove or reset display names that violate these guidelines.

Attempting to manipulate the leaderboard through exploits, automation or any other illegitimate means is prohibited and may result in removal from the leaderboard.

9. Licence to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the application for personal, non-commercial purposes.

This licence does not transfer ownership of the application or any intellectual property rights.

10. Permitted Use

You agree to use the application responsibly and lawfully.

• Use the app for personal purposes only.
• Follow applicable laws and regulations.
• Respect intellectual property rights.
• Use the app as intended by its design.

11. Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the application.
• Modify or create derivative versions of the application.
• Redistribute the application unlawfully.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to app components or cloud data.
• Use the application for illegal or fraudulent purposes.
• Interfere with the proper operation of the application.
• Use automation, scripts or exploits to manipulate scores, credits or leaderboard rankings.
• Attempt to circumvent daily ad limits or reward systems.

12. Intellectual Property

All content within Schulte Table, including but not limited to software, source code, graphics, designs, logos, text, icons and branding elements, remains the property of the developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

13. Availability and Updates

We may update, improve, modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the application at any time without prior notice.

We are not obligated to provide ongoing maintenance, support or future updates.

14. No Warranty

Schulte Table is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation, availability, accuracy, reliability or suitability of the application for any particular purpose.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the application, including but not limited to loss of virtual items such as play credits or leaderboard standings.

Use of the application is entirely at your own risk.

16. Termination

These Terms remain effective until terminated.

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to the application if these Terms are violated.

17. Privacy

Your use of Schulte Table is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, stored and used within the application.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

Continued use of the application following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
